William Johnson has been practicing law in Morris County since 1992. After graduating from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Johnson worked at the Morris County Prosecutor's Office. He then clerked for the Honorable Karen D. Russell, while she was a presiding judge in Morris County.
When his clerkship was finished in the Summer of 1993, he immediately began working for a small but prestigious law firm in Morristown, concentrating on criminal defense and personal injury matters. He was directly involved in many high profile and complex cases. Mr. Johnson was responsible for handling many criminal cases involving allegations of kidnaping, assault, sexual offenses, drug offenses and municipal court matters. In addition, Mr. Johnson was responsible for handling numerous wrongful death, products liability and other matters involving substantial personal injury.

Since November of 2005, Mr. Johnson has been practicing either in partnership with his father George Johnson or as a sole practitioner in Dover, New Jersey. His criminal cases include matters involving serious allegations of criminal conduct, such as sexual offenses, assault, armed robbery, drug offenses as well as municipal court matters, such as drunk driving and other traffic offenses. Mr. Johnson has also continued to handle personal injury matters involving car accidents, dog bites, products liability and construction accidents.
